LibreOffice Writer froze

Hi everyone,

Libre Office Writer froze on me today as I was typing a very important document. I hadn’t saved it at all - stupid, stupid of me, I know - so now I have one frozen window with the document, unable to do anything. I can’t write, I can’t save, none of the buttons will work. If I open another document that window works fine, but this one won’t. I really need that document and I’m afraid that if I terminate the process I’m going to lose what I have so far.

I am running Windows 7 and LibreOffice 4.4

Any thoughts?

You have lost it, Anna, sorry.

For the future:-

(menu):Tools→Options→Load/Save→General
(auto-save + backup options)
