Is there an equivalent editing programme such as Grammarly which I can use for editing in LibreOffice writer?

I have Windows 10 but wish to make LibreOffice Writer my permanent word-processor. I do however need a programme for editing, grammar and punctuation. Is this available on LibreOffice 5?

A grammar-checker comes with the spell-checker. It is a separate download. Have you installed that yet? (it is part of the extensions).

It's not exactly the same but there is an alternative called LanguageTool available from languagetool.org and the extesion is available at http://extensions.libreoffice.org/ext...

When installing the extension I get pop-ups with errors. Most of the error lines java included in them. There isn't any evidence that it's installed except that it's listed on the Extension Management page. The Language Tool version is 3.6. My LibreOffice version is 5.1.6.2. Is there something else that needs to be done?
