I have been a happy Writer user (version 5.0.2.2, in Linux Mint 17.1), the formula support is great and beautiful. Just a quick question.
Is there a way I can copy & paste math formula in latex into Writer’s formula editor?
Yeah, the reason for this is being lazy, suppose I want to prepare a handout on finite difference method, many formulas on this topic are available on Wikipedia page Finite difference - Wikipedia, and the format is latex (right click → inspect element). If Writer can understand them directly, then preparing the document would be much faster!
This does not work by default, as Writer uses a different grammar for formula, but could there be a workaround?
