Hi folks, there are different possibilites to handle the page layout in calc when printing. One of them is "fit to width/height". (Format/Page/Table)

Then one can input the number of pages in width and height.

My question: "Is it possible to adjust the number of pages in width - but not in height". Let's say: I don't care about the number of pages - but the content should not exceed the width of one page.

(In Excel you fill in "1" for width and leave on auto in height.) Cheers Johkra

Hi

Yes, it is possible... If you wish to only limit the width to 1 (e.g.) page must:

  • set Width in pages: 1
  • set Height in pages: a large number

Check Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice Calc -> Print -> Always apply manual breaks to be able to control page breaks by inserting page breaks
