I do not have LibreOffice yet, but I am thinking of downloading it. I don't like the idea of paying $100 rent per year to Microsoft.

I want to know if all my Microsoft Office 2013 documents can be opened and read--and edited, if need be--in LibreOffice.

Hi, yes Libre Office will open and edit Microsoft office files. But it is not a perfect process..

Some operations do not work as well in Libre Office, but it's the best program I have found to work with Microsoft office files.. :)

Kind Regards Bob Moore
