Screen becomes black with dotted lines on opening write or Calc in Libreoffice 5 just after few seconds.
I am experiencing the same problem using LibreOffice 5 on a Dell XPS 13 9350. I running Windows 10 and I tried several compatibility settings with no luck. The programs load fine, but as soon as I type the window will turn black. I can reverse this by refreshing the screen with a min and maximize window command, but then it will come back as soon as I type again.
I have the same issue. Files transferred to my new laptop which has Windows 10 and I get a black screen with some lines.
Same problem on Dell XPS 13 with windows 10!! In the beginning it worked good, but now it’s a disaster when you just even want to open a file.
This isn’t a permanent solution, but I have found that LibreOffice 4.4.6 works fine. I’d suggest installing it instead until someone else with a better solution comes along.
