Calc/traces: What does the magnifier mouse cursor mean?

After adding traces with Extras->Detective->…, the mouse cursor changes shape at the nodes of the trace. It looks like a magnifier with an arrow pointing up. What does it mean? I would expect it to indicate that clicking now does something special but in fact, nothing happens when clicking.

What is the reason for it?

In fact, I would appreciate it to display detailed (non-graphical) information for that node on clicking.

We must double-click the line marker.

In the following example:

• the tool was launched from B2
• Arrow traced to B11.
• Double click on the line marker moves the cursor in B11.
• Restart the detective tool draws the line marker to H12.
• Double click on the line selects H12.

In the end of the “chain” the cursor back to the previous cell… The function is especially useful when the data are distant in the sheet
