I have a Windows 10 Pro 64 workstation and literally am UNABLE to UNinstall LibreOffice v4.4.6.3

I've tried to uninstall LibreOffice 4.4 more times than I can count. I've done it from the Control Panel Programs & features App, I've uninstalled it using Revo Uninstaller in Advanced mode, and I've uninstalled it using IOBit Uninstaller in Powerful uninstaller mode. It looks like it's uninstalling, but as soon as I restart my workstation, there's the link to LibreOffice in the middle of my desktop and all the files are restored in my Programs x86 folder. It's acting like it's a frigging virus! What exactly do I need to do to strip this program off my PC?

LO Archive site

Your situation is horribly familiar for all those using LO under windows. The LO developers appear to be unaware of M$ install wizards; therefore, on uninstall, Windows asks for the old MSI file.

Here's how to fix it:-

  1. Download the MSI file for your old version of LO (source-link at top)
  2. Once fully downloaded, right-click & choose 'uninstall'
  3. (that's it!)
