Dear all,

I use LibreOffice Writer 5.0.3 (English Version) under Lubuntu 14.04 LTS (Dutch version). When I do Select All and subsequently change the font, the program starts behaving strange: the scroll button does not function any longer, and I cannot save the document and quit.

I did not have this problem with versions 4.4.6 and 4.4.7.

Does anyone have a solution?

I have the same problem, but if you change the font and it starts acting weird, try to save the document. If a blank or weird window comes up, click on the right side of the window where the Save button normally is and the document will save. Then close LibreOffice and reopen the document. Your changes should have been saved and will show when you reload the document.

OK, thank you.

For this moment I changed to OpenOffice which is stable.

An OpenGL bug affecting display + printing was fixed only at the end of December 2015. See Q64314 for more info + fixes.
