I'd like to try and create a database. LibreOffice Base seems like the proper tool for that since lots off examples are available on the internet. But I can't open LibreOffice Base : as explained in the "Help" pages, I launch LibreOffice, then open the "File" menu > "New" > ... ? there's no "Base" kind of a file.

There's a big "Base" button on the left side of the window, but when I trigger it, nothing happens.

How can I use Base ?

By the way, my current version of LibreOffice is : Version: Build ID: e5f16313668ac592c1bfb310f4390624e3dbfb75 Locale : fr-FR (fr_FR)

And LibreOffice Math is unavailable as well (but I don't need it right now).

Under File, it appears as 'Database", not "Base"

Under File>StartCentre it appears as "Base Database"

Are you able to provide a screenshot so we can see what might be going wrong?
