Calc Crashes everytime I use it

I use an extension to get stock prices to create my own portfolio manager. The import from Open Office crashes all the time. On Windows 10, the numerical format didn’t import correctly so the formulas don’t work. I had to go in and fix hundreds of formulas on different sheets…no biggy, but then it crashes every few seconds, I have to recover and then start all over again. I’ve literally done the same thing 20 times and it always crashes. I’ve even tried making the file smaller (poor Calc) and that doesn’t work.

I’ve alpha and beta tested numerous programs over the years (including Chrome) and have never seen a program this unstable, much less one released to the public.

I strongly advise against using Libre Office until it’s fixed. The errors are far too numerous to list here.

On my tablet, calc displays retangular blocks of data at a time, not the entire document. I won’t waste my time doing anything on the tablet until this program is fixed and advise other to do the same.

Btw, I’ve disabled my Internet Connection which helps somewhat, but it didn’t stop the endless crashes. This program needs to be pulled from the Internet until fixes are made.

As I"m writing this, I recovered my previous session and I tried to go to help to find the version…it’s not responding again. I give us on this piece of crap and advise others to do the same. An uninstall and reinstall didn’t fix anything.

what is the market price extension?

Usually it’s enough renaming/deleting the file “user/registrymodifications.xcu”, it affect all the options in Menu/Tools/Options, and the files “user/basic/dialog.xlc” and “scrip.xlc” are overwritten, additionally custom colors in “user/config/standard.soc” are lost.
