I am operating a 2004 Apple “PowerBook” iBook G4, and am looking for a complete FREE Office Suite that will create files compatible with Windows documents - in case I receive these from Windows users - and will be a suite compatible with an iBook G4 hardware and software setup. The iBook has the CPU G4 (7450) inside and is a 12 inch white model, listed in the system information as PowerBook6,5. Having just done some preliminary setup operations, the iBook does not appear to have a version of Apple Pages, but just the basic Text Edit app. LibreOffice seemed to “fit the bill”, but I can’t find a direct download site with the correct version of it for this machine. Any help will be humongously appreciated!
