Some time ago I submitted a bug report because pictures would not print in all documents of version 5. I then reverted back to an older version. Recently there was an updated version which I installed. Pictures failed to print again. So I now use version 4.4.7.2 and pictures print perfectly.

There are issues with OpenGL. Disable it in ‘Options’ > LibreOffice’ > ‘View’.
There are (at least) two sets of options directly influencing the printing of graphics (including pictures/images):
- ‘Tools’ > ‘Options’ > ‘LibreOffice Writer’ > ‘Print’ > ‘Contents’
- ‘File’ > ‘Printer Settings’ > ‘Options’ > ‘Contents’
They look similar, but cannot be synchronised. The second one may switch off printing pictures overriding the settings for ‘Writer’.
