Hi,
When I open a read-only document in version 5, there is a banner with a yellow border with the words “This document is open in read-only mode.” on the left side (banner is from left to right of the document at the top) and on the right there is a button with label “Edit Document”.
I would like to stop this banner appearing when a read-only document is opened - does any know how this is done?
I use a writer document as an interface to a Base database therefore the last thing I want is an unskilled user to start editing the ‘read-only’ interface document.
Any help would be much appreciated - Thanks.
