I am trying to import data from a database into an output using a form that I have set up in LibreOffice Writer. I have linked the database to the form and created the fields, but when I try to edit the fields with Form/Data, the Data tab is missing. The instructions for editing fields in Base all refer to this tab. When I open Form, there are only two tabs: General and Events. I have tried to add the Data tab through custom menu selection, but I can't find it there either. Help, please? I planned to finish this project yesterday, and now I'm behind schedule. Thanks. I am using Version

When creating a form to be used as a Writer document I find it best to design the form in base and save it then as a writer document .odt. Then you can check it is working as you want before saving as a Writer document.

If you have created the Form in Base with the data displayed as a Grid Control or in Writer as a Table control then neither of these will have a data Tab. In base the Grid Control will also not have a Data Tab. The Data Source for these Controls will be the Form or Sub Form Data Source. You should see when you open the Document in Design Mode a Data Tab for the Form.
