I tried to download LibreOffice. The webpage had a large green button marked “Download” I clicked it. It didn’t work. Instead it took me to another page, also with a “download” button. This took me to yet another page, and so on, until eventually I landed on the original one. On the way I made a donation: this went quite smoothly. I still haven’t got LibreOffice, and have no idea how to proceed.
I went to LO @ the suggestion of a PC geek offspring & encountered this & numerous subsequent issues. he then informed me that this is a product developed by & for “techies”. the alternatives are to spring for WORD, WordPerfect, any of the other non free alternatives or learn the jargon that an “answer” to your ? will almost certainly include. good luck
