How do you delete a document from libre office

I nolonger need a document in libre office, but I cannot find where I can delete a document.
Please forward step by step instructions on how to delete a document

LibreOffice do not provide a function to delete documents (except via macro programming). This is done with the file explorer, depending of the operating system. The answer will be different depending you work with linux, windows or mac.

What allows LibreOffice is to delete a document from the list of recent documents. For this you have to start LibreOffice without opening a document. This displays the Start Center which presents thumbnails of recent documents. Move the cursor to the top right of the relevant thumbnail and click on the cross.

Note: again, the document itself is not deleted.

The removal of the document will be via the system’s file browser.
