Base subform - can't adjust table control

In LO 5.0.4.2 /Win 10 English:
I have created a form and added a subform through the Form Navigator. The only element in the subform is a table control. However I can’t adjust the columns - rename them, adjust widths, replace by list boxes etc. While editing the form I can select the entire table, but I can’t select the column headings - it just selects the entire table.

The funny thing is that when I save and open the form I can enter data into the columns, and even adjust the widths. But going back to edit the form I still can’t access or adjust the columns.

Any ideas?

This could now be closed, thanks (but not as “Not relevant or outdated”, please! Perhaps as “Resolved - LO bug, fixed in later version” )

In the Table Control you need to right click on a column headings to select a column.

Thank you for that suggestion, but even when I right click on the column heading it just selects the entire Table Control displays the standard shortcut menu (options from “Cut” through to “Group”).

It’s a bug affecting LO 5.0.4.2 - see HERE.

OK, I have now read the bug report (96482) and understand the problem. Thank you, frofa.
What i don’t quite understand (being a newie) is whether I can update to 5.1.0.2, which seems to solve the problem, and if so, how I do it. Can anybody please help me?

Doesn’t look as though anybody reads and answers questions posed in a comment, so I’ll ask it as a new question.

Just go to the LibreOffice Download page and (at the bottom) click on version 5.1 to download. It’s a pre-release at the moment. NOTE: I decided to back-grade to version 5.0.3 to address the problem.

OK, thanks, I’ll try 5.1.0.3. I don’t want to backgrade because I was getting the flicker-and-hang problem described in 96482 before I upgraded to 5.0.4.2.

In LO 5.0.5 Still (and I repeat “Still”, not Fresh) English in system OS X 10.10.5 there is this bug… why??
The Still version is: "It is recommended for use in the professional field "…

???

I have the 4.4.7 version that work…
