Is it any way to save a single master document (and its contents) as a single odt file (instead of odm) containing everything in the same file?

It is unfortunate that FileExportOdt format does not do so directly but the result can still be achieved in two steps:

  1. FormatSection▸select all (Shift+Click on the last entry of the list)▸Remove
  2. FileExportOdt format

Thanks for your answer. I tried it and it worked great, except for the fact that once I get the odt file, it seems to have the contents locked and I'm afraid they are still linked (judging from the dialog menu which appears when opening the file and prompting me to update linked data). Any idea about it?

The document includes perhaps other linked objects that sections "of the master document"?

What is displayed by the Editions Links menu?

You say "contents locked", what is the message: "Write-protected content cannot be changed"?

Yes, that was the message. I realized that from format>section dialog box I can untick on the "lock" section icon and after that I can edit the file. Maybe there is another way, but it worked for me.

There is no simple, currently available way to do this (other than manually for each sub document). The related enhancement request is tdf#52444.

Thank you for your reply. It's a pitty there's no solution implemented yet (something similar to the convert a single document into a master document but working in the opposite direction would be great)
