Double-letter hyphenation error in justified ODTs

Has anyone experienced an error that adds extra letters to a double-letter word in fully justified odt files?

It looks like this:

A sentence is going along quite nicely until I attempt to write the word lett-
tter. It not only doubles the hyphenated letters but also sticks out one char-
acter left of the justification. This only happens with words that contain
        double letters.

I use Windows 10 but this bug only appeared when I updated to LibreOffice 5. I am currently on 5.0.4.2 as of Feb 3 2016. Could it be an error between the new version and my existing template?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can’t reproduc, wie, neither with English US or English UK as text language (LibreOffice 5.0.5).

Please try resetting the user profile, sometimes solves strange issues.

Usually it’s enough renaming/deleting the file “user/registrymodifications.xcu”, it affect all the options in Menu/Tools/Options, and the files “user/basic/dialog.xlc” and “scrip.xlc” are overwritten, additionally custom colors in “user/config/standard.soc” are lost.

I have the same problems with double-letter hyphenation i Danish LibreOfffice 5.1.0.3, Win 7.
Many words have such error. Have tried to totally remove LibreOffice, inclusive profile, and reinstalled. Same problem.
When I copy the text with hyphenation-error to a plain Notepad text-document, the error does not exist there.
