You want to rebuild a function that already exists?

Tools->Options->Load/save->"Save Autorecovery information every xx minutes"

If you really need a macro, there is one already in another forum. It doesn't save automatically (attach to toolbar button) but it does save a timestamped copy: Save Document Macro .
