In Writer I used to be able to insert an image, then in a field box that said Default I could click a down arrow and change the image to grayscale. I downloaded the new version a week or so ago, and now there’s no box, only a color filter that is way to complicated for me. Please help!
Goto View > Toolbars and open the toolbar ‘Image’. There you find the drop-down list. The tool filters is there too, but you need to customize that toolbar to make the filters visible.
Do not close the toolbar. It is a context sensitive toolbar and will open automatically if an image is selected and close automatically when the images looses focus.
