html editing in Writer ... added html disappears

when adding code to an HTML-source some code disappears when I switch to (wysiwyg) weblayout and back to HTML-source.

example:

a:link {color:green; background-color:transparent; text-decoration:none}
a:visited {color:pink; background-color:transparent; text-decoration:none}
a:hover {color:red; background-color:transparent; text-decoration:underline}
a:active {color:yellow; background-color:transparent; text-decoration:underline}

of this style-block the link and visited lines would remain, hover and active disappear.

I made the same experience with adding

img src=“exmpl.jpg”

which is just deleted. Libreoffice forces me to embed the image file in the html, what is not that great.

Does anybody know a way to avoid this loss of code? LibreOffice Writer would be a real nice wysiwyg editor, if this problem could be somehow switched off or worked around.

LibreOffice is an Office Suite in it’s Primary Design that can make simple HTML Documents. For a real nice wysiwyg editor go to http://bluegriffon.org/.
