Test disabling Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice/View - Graphics output - OpenGL
If it doesn't work, please try resetting the user profile, sometimes solves strange issues. https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/U... Usually it's enough renaming/deleting the file "user/registrymodifications.xcu", it affects all the options in Menu/Tools/Options, and the files "user/basic/dialog.xlc" and "scrip.xlc" are overwritten, additionally custom colors in "user/config/standard.soc" are lost.
LibreOffice 5.1. Writer works fine, but problems with calc continue and ongoing throughout when working with this software. Driving me nuts. My new acer laptop only out the box last month, came with windows 8 OS and upgraded to windows 10. Model Aspire E1-570 with an Intel core i3 processor.
Problem is with every spreadsheet that I have worked on in LO, some have been migrated in from MS excel, others constructed from scratch in LO. Same problem every time; go to save and then LO stops working and crashes. Usually get several good saves with no problem, then the regular crash.

LO 5.1. Calc usually crashes whilst trying to save.
I always have several spreadsheet files open at the same time and now noticed that every time I had a crash I also had an "Untitled" file in the recovery list. I am now always immediately giving a new file a name and will see whether that improves it.
