In the pdf document, the anchor link does not go to the end note and vise versa.

It seems the links to and from endnotes are remove when converting an odt document into the pdf format. I am using Adobe Reader 9 to view the pdf document.

After converting a long document (over 200 pages) into a pdf document, when I click on the superscript number link in the body of the document, nothing happens. But it should automatically take me to the appropriate end note at the end of the document. Or, when I click on the number of the end note, nothing happens. But it should automatically take me back up to the place where the superscript number link exists in the body of the document.

Is there a fix? If not, is there some other way to convert the odt files to pdf files where those links work?

I was going to send the document to a friend in a couple of days, then put it on the web in about a week. But I don’t think I can do either without the hyperlinks working. Could you help?

Thanks.

The other option for creating a pdf is to use a pdf printer driver. This looks like a printer on the system but outputs to a pdf file. I use in Windows Nitro PDF, which is free.
