Hello there, this is my first submission to this community (I made sure to preform a search before writing this). Is there a way to use LO to create a mind map? (Not a flow chart). It doesn't have to be fancy, just the basic shapes and links. And I'm not talking about Freemind import or export, I want a way to make it independently, so I can share it with LO users and edit it natively (without any external tools). I'm thinking of something in the lines of an extension, an easy to follow tutorial, a template, anything! Here is what happens when I attempt to create one using LO Draw: I have to do four to five actions just to get one step done in Freemind, that's to draw an ellipse, and then I have to make sure that the second one is of the same size, write something then resize again, and there is linking them together of course. Any help or hint is appreciated, and thank you in advance.

If I have understood well.

Once you have the first ellipse,
right-click - Position and size - Position and size tab - Protect size, then you can copy the ellipse with the same size.

I think there are a lot of useful options to help in the task, like fit the text in the object contour, group objects, etc.

Thanks, it's a useful tip, but not quite what I was looking for @mariosv
