Writer: How to show all headings in the navigator?

I am writing a pretty long document with up to 4 levels of headings and find myself switching back and forth between the Navigator and Styles panels. However, each time I go back to the Navigator, only Level 1 headings are shown and I have to go and open the entire hierarchy of headings up to the one I’m interested in or the one on which I was working.

Is there a way to have the Navigator always show all headings?

I wish I could have both panels open at the same time, given the screen estate at my disposal. This issue would have not existed.

Thanks.

It is possible to have both the Navigator and the Styles and Formatting panels open at the same time: the View menu has an entry titled Navigator (keyboard shortcut F5). I just clicked it and I was rewarded with a floating Navigator panel, which I docked to the left side of the editing window. The Format menu also has a Styles and Formatting entry (shortcut F11).

With this, my need that prompted the original question is satisfied since the Navigator panel is no longer reset.
