I know I can click in empty space and usually drop all selections. But if I’m typing, it takes time to swtch between keyboard and mouse, and if I’m mousing in a busy drawing, it may not have empty space except at the edges.
What about ‘Esc’ (escape key)?

In text boxes. I sometimes end up accidentally moving the text boxes relative to the groups they’re part of. I can’t lock them in place because I need to move the groups.
