It’s annoying that all new paragraphs have the “Keep with next paragraph” option, enabled. How can change this? I looked at “Tools → Options” and also at “Tools → Customize” but didn’t find anything relevant. Are there any configuration files that I can edit? I’m using LO in Fedora.
You probably want to change the default paragraph style.
Open the Style window (via menu or press F11)
The top style should be Default, or look for the Default one if not at the top.
Right click on it and choose modify.
Go under the text flow tab and uncheck Keep with next paragraph (btw by default it should be unchecked).
Click on Apply or OK to save the change.
You may also have different default styles for different default documents (or you can use personalised templates).

This saving process is precisely what I have just done, as many times before, to replace the ugly Liberation Serif with something I prefer - I wondered if I was supposed to click Apply or Reset, decided Apply, clicked it and closed the document. I then clicked to create a new document; which opened with the Default style, which is still Liberation Serif. I have tried to change this I don’t know how many times. With no success. Is it me or the system???
