I have previously created in Microsoft XL a “No. of Days” spreadsheet as “Event date to/from today’s date” , example, Row 13, Event date…21-Jan-63, formula…IF(B13<>0,B13-TODAY(),)…=19461. However, L.O.CALC. shows this result as 18/09/46. Both show Number of Years correctly, i.e. result/365.25…=53.28. Obviously I wish the apparent date format result to appear in number format. Your kind assistance I shall greatly appreciate.
Change the format of the cell containing the formula to Number->General. Result is actually -19461.
It looks to me that LO is formating the cell as Date because of the use of TODAY(). Just format the cell as Number and it will be ok.
