Askubuntu is not an askbot installation but uses the proprietary and hosted stackexchange platform. While stackexchange provides an API, it would require deep intrusion in the askbot code and possibly violate stackexchange's TOS. But it is be possible to introduce autolinking to askubuntu, perhaps using a syntax like #askubuntu:96161 to link to http://askubuntu.com/questions/96161/</p<>>

Ok, thanks! As the LibreOffice side seems to be much more open, I will ask the same question to the askubuntu side -- maybe they are interested in syncing in the questions (and answers) from here.

There are external APIs for AU, and I believe it should be possible to do without intruding on their TOS. I'll talk to some people and see what can happen.

Did this ever get anywhere? At the moment, there are 794 questions tagged with "libreoffice" on AskUbuntu - many of which would be useful here as well.

Well this site is practically dead as far as I can tell, so no it did not go anywhere :/
