running libre office 5 under windows 7 continuely having lapses in program presently running version 5.063 was running 5.1.3 then tried beta 5.2 all with the same results I type a few lines , then Libre OO jams I wait 1-2 min and the program recovers

In several instances over the last week or two the program crashed i even lost data often when it crashed I couldn't even open up L OO but had to reinstall I use OO as my main office suite and need it trustworthy. should I rever to version 4 until this stabilizes? Thanx Menash

Increase Virtual Memory Size

I would start under options / memory by increasing the memory cache to at least 120MB, per object 15mb, number of objects 15.

Then go to options / view and uncheck OpenGL. I would start with hardware acceleration enabled, then try disabled if that doesn't work. Do you have adequate RAM on the system?

Also disable OpenCL. I think this makes more trouble then OpenGL and was introduced in 5.0x.

I tried all of the above to no avail., I have had no crashes,. but the lapses are more than irritating, I cant work like this at all

I will uninstall and then revert to version 4.4.7,2 and see if that helps

update: i reverted to , that didnt seem to help. then increased size of virtual memory in machine. So far so good. Thanx for you who had be look at memory issues
