Right mouse button menu "create new LibO ... document" in LINUX

Hi all,

I’m using LibreOffice on OpenSuse Leap 42.1, KDE Plasma. What I’m missing quite often are the windows/MS Office style right mouse button context menu "create new … " in the file system explorer, Dolphin in my case.

It seems that there have been pkgs for ArchLinux called “dolphin-libreoffice-templates” and “kde-servicemenus-newlibreofficedoc”. Found this thread: http://forums.netrunner-os.com/showthread.php?tid=17337&pid=26188

Am I the only one missing this? Does anyone know where to find the sources from these old pkgs, or the scripts contained in them?

I have a fresh install of Kubuntu 16.04 with KDE PLasma version 5.5. I just checked and I do have "Create new… LO calc…; LO Writer…; etc on the right-click context menu in Dolphin. These are installed by package “libreoffice-kde” (I checked by uninstalling it and the context menu items disappeared). OpenSuse seems to have a package by the same name. You could check to see if that is installed. The direct download of the latest version of LibreOffice includes a package called “kde-integration”. I don’t know for sure if this provides similar functionality.

Thanks for you answer, mikebibo!
There is a package “libreoffice-kde” also available for OpenSuse, and installed per default on my box. But it does NOT contain the rmb menus / shortcuts for Opensuse.

BUT I’ve found also an unstable package “dolphin-libreoffice-templates”, which contains the menu items for English and Italian. Takaing a look inside this package, I found that it’s pretty easy to create these menu items in German, on my own.
