Windows 7 After upgrade from 4 to 5 at the start of LibreOffice I received the error message as follows: The program cannot be started. The service manager is not available ("InvalidRegistryExeption: .........") Start setup application to repair the installation from CD, or the folder containing the installation package

Repair, remove and reinstall: the same result. I could solve the problem with deleting the %APPDATA%/LibreOffice/4 sub-folder. After the remove the program started normally.

I updated yesterday to (x64) on Win 7 Pro and this now works. No workaround found. (I deleted the LibreOffice/4 sub-directory and lost all my previous settings, so re-installing became more attractive (or less unattractive, though I've never lost my preferences before; colour me paranoid.))
