Calc crashes when deleting rows

OS : ubuntu 16.04

When trying to delete a row/rows in any large file, LibreOffice crashes with the following message

multi_type_vector::position#1321:
block position not found! (logical
pos=18446744073709551525, block
size=59, logical size=1048576)

Any workaround?

I also have this problem, and it’s terrible.

I’m running Xubuntu 16.04.

2. as you can see in the bug linked in the answer (just follow the link), the problem was fixed already for version 5.1.5
