writer table

ok so i have a table, that i’am trying to past into writer.

but it shifts every thing. from the past.

so first cell is partially correct, but then it shoves the second cell down below the first one then same with the remainder of the cells.

so lets see how good i can ASCII art this, from the webpage.

the way it should look.

so what am i doing wrong?

and this is a table with multiple tables inside it.

The result depends on both, the origin and target for the table. Are you copying from another Writer document, from Calc, from the web? Can you provide sample files? (there is an “attachment” button on the message editor).

My advice: tables are hard enough to manage, nested tables should be avoided, they tend to get too messy.

ok i got it figured out with a bit of fiddling.
