MIN Function in calc

Used the MIN function to determine the lowest prices. In some of the rows, the lowest price cell color turns green. Yet in other cells it does not. I looked for “options” but couldn’t find any. I have copied the working (green) MIN function to a line that was not working to no avail. Would appreciate any assistance.

Thanks,
Rich Ramik

You surely wouldn’t expect any cell containing a working call to the MIN function to turn to green backround colour. If this happens, it should be due to a conditional format defined for the cell (a range containing the cell) in advance.
If your “green cells” are not those containing the MIN formula, but those containing the lowest price as entered data, the effect alo must be due to a conditional format. Everything easy for a helper if you provide an example .ods demonstrating the issue.

You can do it with a conditional format: Menu/Format/Conditional format

Thank you so much for responding. I had completely forgotten about this posting.

As you suggested, it was Conditional Formatting. Not quite sure how I did it, but I now understand the results I am getting.

Thanks again!!!
