I am new to LibreOffice. The formula to calculate the elapsed time works in Excel but it’s not working in LibreOffice. I found this to try - Calculating Time Differences - LibreOffice Help and it worked when I inputted it on my windows PC Excel spreadsheet. So I used it on LO and the time difference I get from 10am to 6pm is .333. What am I doing wrong?

There is nothing wrong - Calc stores Timedurations internally in **units of Days**→ so 8h resolves to 0.333…(days)
Format the Formulacell into some Time-Format - for Example Number-Formatcode [hh]:mm should be good…
→Rightclick→→Format Cell→Number→Numberformatcode…[hh]:mm
