I want to download an old version of LibreOffice for whatever reason, but the LibreOffice download page only offers the two most recent versions.

Where can I find older versions?

You can download older versions from the website, you're not just looking at it hard enough.

It'll point to https://downloadarchive.documentfound...

... It's an animated website, and animation triggers my migraines, and worsens them when I already have them. Even if I'm not looking through it hard, some pages will hit me hard.

And some of the folders there are empty. I'm trying to install LibreOffice for Windows on Wineskin, because wineskin supports accessibility features MacOS does not. 5.2 isn't running, but 3 and 4 are supposed to run in Wine.

In general it is not advisable to use install or use an old version of LibreOffice, those are no longer maintained, might contain security and other bugs that were fixed in the meantime.

If you want to pinpoint a bug to a specific version where it has been introduced, you might be interested in the Bibisect Repositories instead. We have repositories with all the released versions or newer ones with a much finer granularity for more current versions.

If you still want an old version, you can find them in the download archiveat http://downloadarchive.documentfounda...

Saying it's not advisable to install or use an old version of LibreOffice is not entirely helpful. People may have reasons for wanting an earlier version, including that they use an older operating system (e.g. OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard) and are unable to upgrade to a newer one, or they want to security assessments of earlier versions. Using a Mac Pro 1,1 or 2,1 would be common reason for sticking with Snow Leopard, as you can't easily upgrade but some of the machines are still mega-powerful.

It may not be advisable but If you don't have the Office Facility after updating an older version that works is essential.

I agree it is sometimes necessary to download a previous version known to be stable.

However the http://downloadarchive.documentfounda... only leads me to a mailto link for the Windows download. So instead I've had to go back to using OpenOffice - the only way I can use my various and numerous docs.

Do you mean the older versions that lead to a mailto link ?

Curious, I'm not getting it linking to a mailto now.

Thank you Mike :)

Of course, I talk about your answer above, which is what I'm commenting here. Wrt the BSOD (in another thread), you could use e.g. a phone camera ;-) or at least write down the identifier(s) there - may them give some information?

Okey dokey ... will try taking pic of the BSOD and posting to the relevant thread. Thanks again.
