In Writer there are e.g. Outline styles and in Impress there are Outline styles.

Are the settings in Writer and Impress always the same?

How can customized settings be created for Writer and for Impress?

Thanks in advance for hints.

No.

You have, and can define, different templates for each module of LibreOffice.

And for each module you can define a standard template, which will be used when you create a new document without particular template, like you do when you clic on menu File > New >
