I am creating a booklet with names and contact information from a data base. I also have a picture of all the people in the data base as a Longblob field. Is there a way to insert this into the mail merge document?
Images in mail merge has been a request since early days of Open Office and still nothing. See this post here and here (over 1100 views - many people looking for this) are just a couple of the many requests. Base Report Builder does work with LongBlob objects as well as Pentaho Report Designer and probably others.
