I have been on my computer all day today and now for no apparent reason my word documents no longer have the spell check feature. Yes, of course I have made sure the spell checker on the tool bar is still activated. It is. What is wrong?
Two possibilities:
- You have a document open with more “misspelled” words than spell check as you type can display, so it’s turned off.
- Your user profile probably got corrupted, you need to repair it. See https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile for instructions - at Resolving corruption in the user profile. Read instructions carefully and don’t just delete the profile folder when you found it.
