I have created a spreadsheet and used my column D to produce results but it is all based on input to D1. How can I get the results to work if the input is D6 or D4. All formulas are different for each D cell.

Did you read about the basics here e.g.? (The version doesn’t matter much concerning the concepts you need to know about.)
(You may need information about relative vs. absolute addressing, but I cannot tell for sure. Try to learn about the fundamentals first. See my comment to your question.)
