Hi,

Is there any way of copying/pasting the "Change Tracking" markup from one document to another? I've tried highlighting the contents of a document containing tracked changes and associated markup (eg strike-out etc.) and copying/pasting to another document, but all the change tracking markup disappears on pasting, even if I try the "Paste Special" option.

Hi Anonymous,

Good question! If you tried copying the field contents from one document to another, my guess is that the underlying feature hasn't yet been implemented.

If installing the latest release doesn't seem to fix this problem, please file a bug and provide a list of steps that can reproduce your problem. The QA team will be happy to help you track down this issue!

Please post a link to any bugs you file in a comment below using the format "fdo#123456".

Thanks!

Did you try to make simply a copy of the Writer file?
