I would like to paste the contents of two columns into one column with just a space or a dash in between in between. How do I do that?

Assuming Text in B1, C1, and D1, you can join the data in cell E1: =B1 & " " & C1 & " " & D1 Text between quotation marks will appear literally. In this example the output will have blank spaces, but you can use this to insert commas, dashes, etc
How can I do the same with contents of those columns , If the column values are equal to each other , then it has to merge,,, can it be done or what?
