I only need to open one document, so I would like to always open it when I launch Writer. Is it possible? I use Windows.

Of course, you can do it by

swriter <full path to your file>

The OQ may want to add the FilePath to a OS-link launching 'Writer'.
To forcee 'Writer' to also open the specific file if launched in an independent way without tampering with the registry (Win case) should require a bit of user programming.

You're right, but tinkering with macro programming is an overkill for such a simple task.
