Track changes line breaks issue

I been writing a document with writer 5.2; someone else corrected it and we are using the track changes to see what is new, and to correct the document. The issue is that in some parts I have for ex a title and the paragraph starts in the next page (adds a line break automatically), I try to delete the line break but there is no line break, although it acts as it would be there. In other places I find a line break in the middle of a paragraph, and i cannot delete it. It is a bit random, in some other places it works just fine; i have this issue since I started to use the track changes. Any idea what is causing this problem? Please be aware that these are not line breaks, because I know how to delete those.

I would suspect this is automatic page breaks because the paragraph after the tile does not fit on the same page as the title. Try inserting a page break just before the title and check that the title and paragraph are then both on the same page.

If you edit the style of the title, on the Text Flow tab, you should select Keep with next paragraph, this should avoid the title being placed on a separate page to the following paragraph. This probably doesn't work if you have an extra new line before the paragraph as that would count ast the next paragraph.

Mark_t thanks for the answer. I think the problem is because I am using the change track tool in libre writer. The line breaks appear in the places where there were text which the other user deleted, and even though I hide the changes that space appear blank and I cannot use it. Any idea how to remove that?

Did you try to accept the deletion by the other user?
