Non-linear solver doesn't "show up" in Calc

I’ve installed the nlp-solver from the terminal (sudo apt-get install libreoffice-nlpsolver), but it still doesn’t show up inside the solver in Calc. I’ve tried finding a downloadable extension file, or similar, but no luck there. I’m on Ubuntu Mate

Did you check ‘Tools’ > ‘Solver’ > ‘Options’ > ‘Solver engine’ for evolutionary algorithms?
Do you know an update of http://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/solver-nonlinear-programming-beta ? I don’t. (SUN, StarOffice 9, should still work with AOO and LibO as well -verified for AOO V4 , will need Java).

Since I’m using Linux Mint, I have this add-on in the Mint Software Manager. It shows up when you enter “nlps” in the search line in the upper right corner.
