I have used OpenOffice for many, many years and have added lots of entries to the spelling dictionary. Is there a way to get those entries into LibreOffice?

I'm a new LibreOffice user (V5.1.6.2) on Win10.

You should have your user dictionary on: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice\4\user\wordbook with standard.dic and your own dictionary if you have one.

with LibreOffice closed, copy those to: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\4\user\wordbook

run LIbreOffice and on Menu/Tools/Options/Language settings/Writing aids verify they are active.
