Default Line Color in LibreOffice Writer 5

Using LibreOffice 5.1.4.2, Ubuntu 16.10

I want to change the default color for lines, ellipses, circles, etc., in LibreOffice Writer 5. I want to change the color to black instead of that annoying tango blue color. How can I do that so whenever I create a new line I no longer have to fiddle with line colors or styles?

I figured it out. I’ll think we should leave this here in case anyone goes hunting for this answer in the future.

Simply change the color before you draw anything and it will remain the default color until you change it again.

The trick is to do it -before- you draw. Not after/

Is not a trick because in new session the line colour back again to blue
